Colorado Freedom Force Update

On Wednesday, Colorado’s 100 lawmakers return to Denver to begin the 2026 Legislative Session.

The 120 days to follow will be fast, relentless, and filled with fights freedom-lovers did not ask for but will have no choice but to confront.

And we all know, the fight for freedom is anything but a spectator’s sport. It requires citizens like you to be willing to speak up, make calls, send emails, and apply pressure at precisely the right moments.

Delay often equals defeat, and in Denver, silence is perceived as consent.

When we issue a call to action, it will not be theoretical or symbolic. It will be because your voice can still change the outcome on a specific bill.

That means being prepared to respond at a moment’s notice and standing shoulder to shoulder with thousands of other Coloradans who refuse to sit quietly while bad policy becomes law.

You can enjoy some new-and-improved tools this year as well, including a more robust and user-friendly online bill tracker.

So knock the rust off your armor and sharpen your swords.

The fight starts this week!

Aside from the usual attacks on our Second Amendment rights, creepy ways to indoctrinate our children and clever word changes to gut TABOR, we can expect a lot more discussion around the budget this year.

As the Federal government cracks down on fraud, Colorado will see both freezes and cuts in funding. And this, of course, will happen directly on top of the horrible mismanagement of your tax dollars under Governor Polis where billions of dollars in surplus money were squandered and the State left in a looming deficit.

You can expect lawmakers to start cutting in the places it hurts the most first, conveniently ignoring the fraudulent money sent to NGO's and the wasteful money tied up in their pet projects.

Together, we will not only weather this incoming storm, we will leave our mark on every bill we challenge.

To end on a more positive note...

The last few weeks have been a shining example of how the grassroots can make huge waves.

In a recent interview, Governor Polis said he was considering clemency for Tina Peters.

When Tina's case made national headlines and the President was posting multiple tweets about her, Colorado Freedom Force helped direct that public outrage directly to Polis, noting specifically that he alone held the power to determine Tina's fate in Colorado.

So thanks for taking a stand and making your voice heard!

Now let's get ready for what lies ahead.

For Freedom,

Colorado Freedom Force
